Pu-Erh tea are the leaves of the Qingmao tea bush. These tea bushes originate from the area around the city of Pu'er in the Chinese province of Yunnan, hence the name Pu-Erh tea. Traditionally, the tea leaves are fermented by the external bacteria and yeasts. Then they are steamed, and compressed into slices, tiles or pellets. The tea is laid to dry and stored for maturing. This tea gets dark red color and earth-like taste.
